Pastor Jeremy came to Grace Fellowship in November 2021, following the retirement of Pastor Gregg Smith.  Jeremy was called to vocational ministry over 20 years ago, but took a few years to finally listen to God’s call on his life (long story…ask him about it!).  There are a few areas where Jeremy really focuses on in the church: discipleship, small groups, equipping the church body, and counseling/visitation (specifically hospice ministry).  Originally from Glendale, Arizona, Jeremy and his family (wife Amanda, son Gabe, and daughter Genevieve) have called Minot home for 15 years and don’t have any plans of going anywhere else!  Jeremy enjoys all things technology, especially when it helps people connect with God.  He is quite technologically savvy and will do what he can so that everyone can participate and connect with God, whether in person, online, or through small groups.

Jeremy would describe himself as a “big guy, with a big beard, and a big tattoo.”  While he may not look like the typical pastor, rest assured, he is head-over-heels in love with Jesus and believes it is his life’s purpose to ensure others are able to feel the love of Jesus wherever they are in life.  Now, for some fun facts:

Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – Rejoice always.  Pray constantly.  Give thanks in everything, for this is God will for you in Christ Jesus.

Family: Wife, Amanda (married 23 years), son Gabe (17), and daughter Genevieve (13); Ziva (German Shepherd/Husky), Daisy (Basset Hound), Wyatt (Corgie/German Shepherd), and cats Millie, Ross, and Rachel

Before ministry, I: was in the Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 2016

Favorite Author(s): Francis Chan; Kyle Idleman; Max Lucado

Education: B.S. in Religion and Business, Liberty University; MBA in Strategic Leadership, Trident University; Doctor of Theology (in progress), Master’s International University of Divinity

Favorite part of ministry: this is a two-parter here: I love watching people enter into a relationship with Jesus—it’s amazing to see the transformation before your eyes!  Second, I truly love visitation ministry, specifically hospice ministry (ask me about it sometime!).
